Thu. Nov. 17th The Club Annual General meeting was held on Friday 21st Oct. in the Officers Mess, Columb Barracks. Fri. Sept. 30th We are running a first aid course in the club on Staurday 8th October 9am start - 8 hour duration covering exposure and CPR as well as basic first aid.The cost of the trainer is €550.00 divided by the number of participants.(12 max) I have seven so far. If you had logged in on Saturday morning, you would have been faced with a black screen with the words "EXPULSE WAS HERE !"  and hacked by **** The following was posted on the host company website; Service announcements and related posts from the Blacknight technical team Pendragon Compromised, Old Windows Shared Hosting By Niall Doneganon Monday April 25 2011 12:33 Message It looks like Pendragon was compromised over the weekend and all index files replaced with a "Hacked By" message. We haven't been able to find the point of entry yet, so IIS is being disabled. All replaced files are being restored from backup. More details and ETA will be posted here once we have them. Update 17:30: We've found the source and blocked it. We're now waiting for the restore to complete before restarting IIS. Update 17:55: All files are now restored and all sites are back up and running. If you spot any lingering issues, please let support know. Fri. 11th March Spring newsletter including Fleet Captains bulletin, rescue boat rota and club callendar can be downloaded here Thu. 25th Feb. You might have noticed that the site has not been updated for a while, well one of the reasons is that I have started a complete re-write. After five years, it needs a good spring clean. The objective would be to produce a simplified structure with more graphics. The new site will not be uploaded until it is substantially completed, when that might be, I have no idea, in the meantime, this end will only receive minimal maintenance. As usual, our year kicks off with the club's annual dinner, which will be held at the Annebrook Hotel on Friday March 25th., meet at 7.30 for 8.00. The menu will be a variation on their early bird offering, three course plus coffee at €25 per person.
